Meet the Gamer Behind the Gear
I’m the founder and designer behind every shirt at Garth’s Shoppe. My gaming journey began in 1983, when I stood on tiptoes to reach arcade controls, dropped quarters into Asteroids, and watched in awe as Mario leapt across barrels trying to rescue the princess from Donkey Kong. When home computing arrived, I was there for the text parser frustrations of King’s Quest (I still remember being stuck for weeks until a magazine published that one crucial hint).
Fast forward through decades of gaming evolution—from marathon Warcraft II sessions during college (who needs sleep when you’re building an empire?) to today’s expansive digital worlds—and the passion remains unchanged.
